ATTENTION: Deadline  registration 2nd June 2017

Dear EAFE members and friends,

The Italian Association for Forensic Entomology (GIEF) is happy and honoured to host the 14th Meeting of the European Association for Forensic Entomology ( http://eafe.org/) in the city of Treviso, from 8th to 10th of June 2017. In addition to the traditional scientific sections an evening “forensic cases” section will be run during the meeting.

The meeting will be preceded on thehttp://giefitalia.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Abstract-submission-1.pdf 7th of June by the 2nd International Conference of Funerary Archaeoentomology and the Workshop on the recovery and study of soldier remains (http://giefitalia.org/events/2nd-international-conference-in-funerary-archaeoentomology-and-soldier-recovery-workshop/)

Treviso is a nice city in the Venetian region, located between the Dolomites and Venice. Treviso is known for being the original production area of Prosecco wine, and the birthplace of the popular Italian dessert tiramisu. The city is home to the headquarters of clothing retailer Benetton, Sisley, Stefanel, Diadora and Lotto Sport Italia, appliance maker De’ Longhi and bicycle maker Pinarello.
